Jukka Norokorpi, Chairman of the Board
M.Sc. (Computer Science)
Since 1970 Mr. Norokorpi has worked in the Finnish and international IT industry, especially in software and systems business.

He has held a set of senior management positions within Nokia Data (until 1991), within ICL Personal Systems (until 1995) and within Teamware Group, a subsidiary of Fujitsu Ltd of Japan (until 2001).

Mr. Norokorpi has been based in Sweden (1987-1991) and in the UK (1993-1997). He has held Board Directorships in Nordic and US based IT companies. He has been running a set of international businesses, building up new business ventures and new distribution channels. Additionally he has worked with mergers including the integration processes, acquisitions and disposals.

Currently Mr. Norokorpi is an independent advisor who specializes in advising IT companies with their internationalization strategies and processes.

 

Dr. William L. Paulin
Dr. William L. Paulin is the founding principal of PaulinNeal, an international Interim Executive firm specializing in global business development, strategic management, executive mentoring and venture funding for aggressive, entrepreneurial, high-tech firms. Dr. Paulin has served on the Boards of Directors and Advisors of 24 companies in the United States and Europe. With more than 30 years senior executive and consulting experience in global and high-tech business, Dr. Paulin has held numerous senior executive positions (e.g. director of strategic planning, vice president of sales and marketing and president) in two Fortune 100 firms, several high-tech start-ups and several turn-arounds.

Since founding PaulinNeal in 1990, Dr. Paulin has concentrated on mentoring, advising and performing interim executive roles in globalizing, high tech businesses. Recently, he has directed the successful launch of a number of European companies from various industries into the North American marketplace – one of which is now the global market share leader and two, USA share leaders.

As a professor of Business Administration, Dr. Paulin was a founder of the University of Southern California’s Entrepreneurship Program and the New Venture Initiative Program in the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. Internationally, Dr. Paulin has co-founded several international business education and globalization programs in Finland. In May 2006, Dr. Paulin was awarded the prestigious Honorary Doctor’s Degree by Finland’s University of Oulu for his contributions to academe, government and business in that country.

Prior to entering the business world, Dr. Paulin was a practicing engineer in the aerospace industry and holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA in Finance and a Ph.D. in strategic management and entrepreneurship from the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Paulin lives in San Diego with his wife Sandy and has two sons, Chris, a graduate engineer serving as a US Marine Corps Aviator and Tim, a student, football player at Columbia University.
