Medical Devices & Pharmaceuticals

The Medical Device Industry, as well as the whole Pharmaceutical Industry, is facing ever increasing requirements for productivity improvement. Staying on the forefront of product development and ahead of the competitors is a constant challenge which the manufacturers must overcome. To complicate matters, these industries have been left behind in the productivity improvement driven by the information technology revolution. This is partially due to stringent FDA regulations for electronic records, combined with a fairly conservative approach to quality assurance.

In addition, there is significant pressure to remain remain current by ensuring innovative product development, a crucial factor for ensuring that the medical device manufacturers’ business stays relevant and does not fall behind the latest developments.
